National Lottery results: One ticket-holder wins £3.8m Lotto jackpot as four scoop £1m
One ticket holder claimed the £3.8 million Lotto jackpot in Saturday's National Lottery contest. They won the grand prize by matching all six main numbers.
Four players pocketed £1 million each by matching five out of six numbers in addition to the bonus ball. The lottery numbers drawn were 9, 12, 13, 26, 38, 40 and the bonus ball was 04.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, which is the operator of The National Lottery, said: "What fantastic news for our lucky Lotto players, as one ticket-holder has won tonight's £3.8 million jackpot."

He added: "This follows Wednesday's draw which saw an incredible six new Lotto millionaires made in one night."
Moreover, he encouraged players: "Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight's lucky winner."
In the Lotto HotPicks, which shares numbers with the main Lotto draw, two players hit the ultimate victory. By matching five of five numbers, they each secured a life-changing amount of £350,000.
The successful Thunderball numers were 14, 15, 26, 29, 37, and the Thunderball itself was 08.
Whilst no entrants matched all five numbers along with the Thunderball to claim the top reward, a ticket holder did match five numbers to collect £5,000.
The estimated Lotto jackpot for Wednesday stands at £2 million.
